Start by topping up the vase with clean, room-temperature water as soon as the bouquet arrives.

Remove the roses gently, trim 2–3 cm off each stem at a 45° angle, and place them back into the vase. This keeps water flowing freely through the stems.

Keep the vase in a cool, shaded spot away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or strong drafts — pink roses open beautifully when kept comfortable.

Change the water every 1–2 days, giving the stems a light re-trim each time to keep them hydrated and fresh.

Remove any wilting petals or leaves that fall below the waterline — this prevents bacterial buildup and helps the roses last longer.

If the roses begin to droop, give them a fresh trim and place them in slightly warm water for 20 minutes; they usually perk right back up.
